As you may know, Picnic Day is entirely student-run, and we are looking for students to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students to advance their professional development in an area of their interest while finding a community at UC Davis. We are seeking students who may be interested in applying for the Assistant Director and General Member positions!
What does it mean to be a General Member?
General Members volunteer 2 hours a week for Winter and Spring Quarter and assist in the planning process for Picnic Day. In this position, you will have the option of joining 1 of 7 teams: Animal Events, Children's Discovery Fair, Entertainment, Technical, Parade, Special Events, and Student Discovery Fair! What does it mean to be a Volunteer?
Volunteers work for 2 hours on the day of Picnic Day for a team of their choice. Examples of what a volunteer would potentially be doing are helping organize the parade lineup or setting up speakers for entertainers. Volunteers also get a free T-shirt!
