Join us at the DCs this week for our Sustainability Tabling

SHDS will be tabling this week at all three Dining Commons. Join us and learn more about sustainable practices and waste management in your living area:

• Tercero DC (Next to Pac fusion) Monday, 10.09 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
• Segundo DC (Near the dish return area) Tuesday, 10.10 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Cuarto DC, Thursday 10.12 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Love Gardening? Join one of our Resident Gardens during volunteer hours!

Volunteer Hours are open to all Student Housing Residents living in Segundo, Tercero & Cuarto. Drop-in for as much or as little time as you like to learn new skills - or put existing skills to use – and meet new people.

No experience necessary! All instructions and tools are provided.

Resident Garden at Segundo – located between Bixby Hall and the Segundo Dining Commons

• Tuesday: 9:00 AM-11:00 AM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM-4:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

Resident Garden at Tercero – located near the main entrance to Latitude.

• Monday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Wednesday 2:10 PM-4:10 PM
• Friday: 1:30 PM-3:30 PM

Adopt-A-Plot

Residents can also adopt a plot in the Segundo or Tercero garden for one quarter or longer to steward their own garden space. Adopt-a-plotters will have access to garden materials and mentorship.

If you are interested in adopting a plot, please fill out the Adopt-A-Plot application or visit us during open volunteer hours and speak to one of our Resident Garden Coordinators.
