Peer Advisors

Peer Advisors are fellow students in your department. They can assist with:

  • Scheduling
  • Registering for classes
  • Navigating online tools
  • OASIS -Schedule Builder
  • Major Exploration
  • Identifying student organizations and department clubs

Residential Academic Center Study Rooms

Need a private space? The Residential Academic Centers located in Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto have private study offices available for student use throughout the academic year.  Study offices may be reserved for studying, virtual classes, online exams as well as virtual appointments including but not limited to advising, health appointments, and student conduct meetings.

Study rooms are available Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 11:00PM and Saturday - Sunday 12:00PM- 11:00PM.  30 min., 1 hour, and 2 hour time slots are available reserveable up to 2 weeks in advance.

Student Housing and Dining Services knows that academics are a priority for students at UC Davis, which is why supporting academic success is a part of our mission. The New Student Academic Services team is dedicated to providing support, resources, and programming to help students succeed during their first year and beyond. In addition, Student Housing has a long-standing collaboration with the four colleges and Academic Assistance and Tutoring Centers, which provides convenient and accessible academic support services in the 3 Residential Academic Centers and living communities.
