Fruit and Veggie Up! is operating for quarterly distribution. Every quarter, Aggie Compass hosts Fruit & Veggie Up! A free produce distribution service for students, staff, faculty, and community members. Stop by Aggie Compass between 1:30PM – 3:30PM on Wednesdays and stop by the East Quad next to Aggie Eats truck 11:00AM – 1:00PM on Fridays and pick up some delicious, seasonal, and organic produce generously donated by the UC Davis Student Farm and the Fresh Focus program. Student Housing residence halls will be closed during Winter Break and accommodations in the residence halls will not be available. Residence Halls close at 12pm (Noon) on December 14, 2024 and will open at 8am on January 3, 2025.

Student Housing has identified hotels in the Davis area that can accommodate our students’ housing needs during Winter Break. We have negotiated a discounted nightly rate which the student will be responsible for paying. Availability is be limited and provided on a first come first serve basis.

You are being invited to join a research study by the Energy Efficiency Insitute (EEI) for residents of UC Davis campus residence (Segundu, Tercero, Cuarto, The Green, Orchard Park) and the Domes. The study will attempt to understand the underlying causes of the difference in perceived quality of life and other social, physical and mental health aspects associated with it. Additionally, this study will try to identify the reasons for preferring one kind of housing option vs the other. The results of this study may guide future sustainable housing on campus.

We always strive to make where you eat and where you live the most enjoyable part of your day, but right now, some of our dining locations and residence halls will be affected by the union strike that is taking place from Wednesday, November 20 to Thursday, November 21. We hope all dining locations will resume their normal operations as soon as possible, but in the meantime, please learn more about your current dining options.
