Have a Business idea?

The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship offers undergraduate students the chance to network with business professionals and gain experience within the business and marketing world. We offer programs, like the EQUIP Fellowship, that allows students to grow their business idea alongside like-minded peers who hope to change the world. In Winter quarter, we will have our entry-level Little Bang Pitch + Poster competition, where students can participate for a chance to win up to $1,000.

Clínica Tepati Fall Application Cycle

Founded in 1974, Clínica Tepati set out to address the healthcare gap in the Latino community of the greater Sacramento area. Although there have been advancements in medical access and technology, this community remains socioeconomically disadvantaged and medically underserved. According to the 2009 California Health Interview Survey, 27.3% of Latinos in Sacramento County live at or below the Federal Poverty Line and 15.8% have no health insurance at all. In addition, 21.1% report not having a regular source of healthcare to turn to when ill or in need of health advice.
