UC Davis Campus Housing Post Occupancy Evaluation Survey

You are being invited to join a research study by the Energy Efficiency Insitute (EEI) for residents of UC Davis campus residence (Segundu, Tercero, Cuarto, The Green, Orchard Park) and the Domes. The study will attempt to understand the underlying causes of the difference in perceived quality of life and other social, physical and mental health aspects associated with it. Additionally, this study will try to identify the reasons for preferring one kind of housing option vs the other. The results of this study may guide future sustainable housing on campus.

Sustainable Living at UC Davis: Your Housing, Your Choices

The goal of this survey is to learn more about how student housing affects life on the UC Davis campus, with a focus on social experiences and environmental impacts. We want to understand how different living arrangements, like traditional dorms versus eco-friendly housing, influence quality of life and community interaction. Additionally, we’re interested in exploring students' habits around energy use, waste, and other sustainability practices as well as the role of community in their sense of happiness and belonging.
