Volunteers needed - Aggie Day 2024

Do you have Aggie Pride?  Do you want to help welcome the next generation of prospective students to campus?  We are looking for volunteers to help with Aggie Day for first-year students and Aggie Day for transfer students.

Aggie Day is our annual campus-wide event where we invite prospective students and their families to campus to learn what life at UC Davis is like.  Student Housing and Dining services will be offering tours and informational resources about living on campus and we need volunteer tour guides and tour rooms for the event.

Your Input Matters!

Student Housing and Dining Services invites you to participate in our 2024 Housing Survey for residents living in on-campus housing. We are interested in understanding your housing experience as part of our continuous improvement efforts.

Your feedback is essential to helping us understand students’ needs and preferences and will help us identify ways to improve our services for you and future students.

Residence Hall Package FAQs

Q: What makes packages delivered to the residence halls different than packages delivered to my house?

A: Most packages delivered to your front door at home go through a limited number of “hands”, usually just the sender, carrier, and then yourself. All packages delivered to the halls have an extra step, being sorted and processed by the student employees of the mailroom!

Q: Why do our packages have to get sorted and processed first? Can’t you just give them to us immediately?
