Participate in a Mobility Disabilities Study
Hello, do you live in Davis? Do you face challenges in accessing transportation and infrastructure in Davis? Do you have dependence on mobility aids or difficulties in walking, crossing stairs, or lifting objects? If yes, you are being invited to join a research study titled "A study on Inclusion of Person with Mobility Disabilities in Infrastructure and Transportation System of Davis". The purpose of this study is to identify the transportation and infrastructure barriers faced by persons with mobility disabilities in Davis. Upon completing the interview, you will receive $20 gift card.

If you agree to be in this research, you will be asked to participate in an interview. You will be asked questions about the barriers faced by you while accessing transportation and infrastructures in Davis. It will take about 1 hour to complete the interview. Your opinion will also assist them in undertaking initiatives to improve the transportation modes and infrastructure, service quality, and operation to ensure quality trips for people experiencing mobility disabilities.
The interview will be audiotaped, but your name will not be included in the transcription. Your answers will be confidential. This means that any identifying personal data, like your name, will not be shared outside. All information will be used for research purposes only.
There is no direct benefit to you from taking part in this study. Upon completing the interview, you will get $20 gift card. We hope that the research on your opinion will help policymakers and transportation and infrastructure service providers to understand your needs.
The risks of this research are minimal. If some of the questions make you feel uncomfortable or upset, you do not have to answer the questions you do not want to answer.
