Second Year Housing Info Sessions

It’s never too early to start thinking about where you’ll be living next year. You’ve got questions and we’ve got answers. Join us at one of our returning housing info sessions to get information on available housing options for returning students, including both on and off-campus options. We’ll cover important dates and deadlines and help walk through the process for reserving your next housing space! We'll also be offering a Q&A with ASUCD, Financial Aid, and Student Housing and Dining Services (SHDS) staff.

ASUCD Student Advocate Office

The Student Advocate’s Office is a nonpartisan executive office in the Associated Students of the University of California (ASUCD), and is fully independent of University administrators and faculty. We provide free and private casework services to students navigating disputes with the University as represented by OSSJA with the aim of providing students the expertise and support to explore their options and advocate for themselves fully.

Group Therapy Offerings

Group counseling is an excellent resource to assist students on a wide variety of issues. Groups are typically 6-8 students with 1-2 therapists helping to lead the group in discussions or skills building. Group counseling offers the opportunity to work on social skills and interpersonal goals while hearing and sharing feedback and experiences with peers. Group can help foster a sense of belonging along with the opportunity to explore issues at a deeper level. Some groups are organized around a central theme or issue that members have all experienced, and others are more general.

Join Women's Rowing at UC Davis!

No experience necessary! Our team is made up of so many strong, energetic, and supportive athletes and we would love to have you be a part of that. We accept anyone and everyone regardless of athletic or rowing experience! Even though we’re a club sport, we compete at regattas across the country. We practice out of the Port of West Sacramento, usually starting at 5am. The team provides transportation to and from practice, and we’ll have you back in time for any 8am classes. We also have land practices on campus several times a week which will start a bit later!

Student Housing Vehicle Policy

UC Davis is a pedestrian friendly campus. While you'll see many people on campus walking, biking, and skateboarding that doesn't mean you can do it anywhere.  If you're planning on bringing a personal vehicle such as a bike, scooter, skateboard, etc we strongly recommend you check both university policy and Student Housing and Dining Services (SHDS) policy first.

Aggie Mentors Mentor and Mentee Applications Now Open

ASUCD's Aggie Mentorship Committee is now accepting applications for both mentors and mentees through September 15.   The committee pairs experienced students with transfer/freshman students to help new students adjust to life here at UC Davis. Our committee aims to help build friendships and help provide new students with guidance while also allowing established students to help new students forward.
