Preparing You for Moove-out

Be Part of Aggies Give & Go

Moove-out is right around the corner! Get ready now and make this process a breeze.

SHDS Sustainability will be hosting the Aggies Give & Go donation drive, where we will be collecting gently used clothing items and non-perishables starting Friday, June 5. We will also coordinate a mattress topper collection to reduce landfill waste.

Look for donation stations in your Res Hall Lobby (Regan Main for Regan residents) beginning Friday, June 5. Start sorting through your stuff now to reduce the amount of work.

Get ahead and start sorting now

Mattress topper recycling

Residents can drop off their mattress topper for recycling during Moove-out. The collection will take place from June 8 to June 11 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

  • For June 8 and June 9, check in with the Area Services Desk staff for instructions.
  • For June 10 and June 11, bring it to the cart checkout areas in Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto.
  • Find all the details on our Moove-out website: https://housing.ucdavis.edu/sustainability/move-out/

As a reminder, please do not dispose of mattress toppers in waste bins or leave them at the donation stations. If you are not able to drop off your mattress topper during our collection period, you will be responsible for taking it back with you or bringing it to the Yolo County Landfill, where you can dispose of it for a fee.
