SHDS Sustainability is hiring

Do you want to make a difference and help UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services more sustainable? SHDS Sustainability is hiring students for Sustainability Peer Educators! This position is a part-time student staff member of SHDS sustainability team.

  • Sustainability Peer Educator/STST3 (Handshake #9865096): This position is responsible for facilitating sustainability education programs and initiatives by developing and facilitating events, creating communication materials, and giving presentations. Topic areas of focus include sustainable dining, waste reduction, and energy/climate. Apply by midnight Friday, May 16 on Handshake.

Moove-out is 4 weeks away! Start preparing now so it does not become too overwhelming during finals week. SHDS Sustainability will be hosting Aggies Give & Go donation drive, where we will be collecting gently used clothing items and non-perishables. Look for donation stations in your Res Hall Lobby (Regan Main for Regan residents) beginning Friday, June 6. Start sorting through your stuff now to relieve the amount of work and for reference, take a look at the items we will be accepting below:
