Finals Study Essentials:


Plan out your studying with a schedule!

Engage with active learning techniques like:

  • Quiz a friend and have a friend quiz you!
  • Sketch out diagrams
  • Space out your studying to avoid cramming!
  • Good time management is essential for success. Here are some strategies to help you make the most of your time:
  • Use a calendar system (e.g., Google Calendar or a physical planner)
  • Create to-do lists to keep track of your tasks
  • Break big tasks into smaller, manageable steps with clear deadlines
  • Allow some buffer time between activities for flexibility
  • Remember to take breaks and prioritize sleep, meals, and self-care


Tutoring:


Find out when and where the Academic Assistance and Tutoring Centers (AATC) offer help for your subject.
The Residential Academic Centers provide tutoring for Math, Chemistry, and Writing from 6-9pm, Monday through Thursday.
Don’t forget to attend your instructor’s and TA’s office hours—they’re available to assist you!

The Office of Educational Opportunities and Enrichment Services (OEOES) is your primary campus resource for mastering time management. It offers a range of tools and services to help improve your productivity and organizational skills.
