Hey Aggies! Thinking about sticking around for summer? Here’s everything you need to know.
What is Summer Session?
UC Davis Summer Sessions are a great opportunity to get ahead on coursework, explore a new subject, or lighten your future academic load — all in just six weeks.
Here’s a breakdown:
- Over 700 courses are available during Summer Sessions
- Special Sessions offer even more courses with flexible start dates
- Courses are intensive: 10 weeks of material condensed into 6
- Costs include $279 per unit plus a mandatory campus fee of $403.90 per session
- Financial aid is available if you’re registered for 6 or more units and filed FAFSA the previous year
- Students taking 10 or more units may be eligible for the $1,100 Summer Advantage Grant

Special Session: June 13 – September 12
Session II: August 4 – September 12
