 UC Davis Summer Abroad

Earn 6-8 units in 3-5 weeks! All programs are taught in English and are open to students of all majors and class levels. Financial aid applies! Create an online profile to receive email updates about programs that interest you.

Open to all students. Earn 6-8 units in 4-8 weeks. Financial aid applies! Create an online profile to receive email updates about programs that interest you.

UC Davis Quarter Abroad

UC Davis Virtual Summer Internships

Intern 20-30 hours per week remotely while earning UC Davis credit. Open to all students.  Create an online profile to receive email updates about programs that interest you.

Funding & Fees Information
  • Financial aid, scholarships, and awards are available for study abroad. Check out our Funding Your Study Abroad Experience and Scholarships & Funding pages for more information on how to receive a financial aid estimate, budgeting tips, and search for scholarships with the funding search tool.
  • How much does it cost? 2024 costs are now available! You can find costs posted on each program-specific webpage. Just look for the “Cost” tab. 
  • Awards and Scholarships
    • UC Davis Study Abroad Awards ($500-2000) are available for UC Davis students enrolled in a Summer Abroad, Summer Abroad Internship or Quarter Abroad Fall programs. Applications are now open.
    • The Global Learning Award application ($500 - $1000) is now open. Application deadline is January 23, 2024.
    • The Global Aggies Award for LGBTQIA+ Rights award provides students with funding to learn about and advance LGBTQIA+ wellbeing and rights globally. Application deadline is February 21, 2024.
    • Applications for the Gilman Scholarship (up to $5000) for Pell Grant recipients will open Mid-January. Application deadline is March 7, 2024.
 University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP)

UCEAP offers programs of all lengths. You can study at world-renowned Universities in English, immerse yourself in another language and academic culture, or take language classes (more information).  Enrollment is now open for fall 2024 through spring 2025. Study Abroad Community-Focused Programs

UC Davis Study Abroad and UCEAP integrate global opportunities with an emphasis on responsible community service, addressing the needs of local communities.

UC Davis Widening Circles: Global Social Impact Program

This program allows students to explore new pathways for learning, sharing, connecting, and acting with purpose and humility in the face of global inequality and injustice. Students can combine this opportunity with a study abroad program or add on a stand-alone internship. Funding available.
