Debriefing Midterms and Tips for Studying!
Use your past midterm experiences to succeed in the rest of your quarter! Here are some tips to successfully aid you in the rest of your midterms, projects, and finals:
1. Reflect on your past midterm experience and scores. Ask yourself:
- Which study techniques reinforced the curriculum the best?
- Which section/questions were challenging?
- Which materials were represented the most (lecture, textbook, readings, etc.)?
- Is the content on the next midterm/final?
2. Reach out to your professors and/or teaching assistants.
- Request to review your exam/project in office hours
- Clarify rubric content or grading policy
- Ask about study or writing tips
- Request future study guides or review sessions
3. Use learning resources.
