Dean’s Office Advising: aid with UC Davis Procedures and Policies, including:

How to Prepare for an Advising Appointment? 


Checklist: 

  • Visit your College’s site
  • Schedule an appointment by major/minor
  • Complete applicable worksheets
  • Do some research and plan questions ahead of time 
  • Make annotations to look back on

Additionally, some colleges require Mandatory Advising, so as a student, you may be required to schedule an appointment with an advisor promptly. Feel free to contact your advisors if any questions arise throughout the year!
