Adopt-A-Plot, Move-Out and More!

37 Days Until Move Out!

Before you know it, it will be time to pack up and move out of the Res Halls. This process can be stressful and a bit challenging, so here are some tips to avoid that last-minute stress:

  • Start early: Think about what you need and don’t with a clear mind.
  • Know how to dispose of your waste. You can look at your building’s waste guide here
  • Donate stuff you don’t need: You can visit your local thrift store or the Aggie Reuse Store and donate items you do not need anymore. Check what items they accept before you decide to go.

You can donate items directly in your building as part of Aggies Give & Go. We will begin to collect items starting, Friday, June 7. Look at the items that will be accepted:

  • Clothing & Shoes - Accessories
  • School/Office/Art Supplies
  • Linens & Towels
  • Housewares
  • Small, working electronics

We will be sharing more details as Move Out week gets closer.

Adopt-a-plotters will have access to garden materials and mentorship.

If you are interested in adopting a plot, please fill out the Adopt-A-Plot application or visit us during open volunteer hours and speak to one of our Resident Garden Coordinators.
