De-Stressing Your Way Into Finals Week!
The quarter is coming to an end, and it’s totally normal to feel a mix of stress, excitement, and pressure. Remember, you don’t have to handle it all on your own. This week, we’re focusing on taking care of your mental and emotional well-being while still preparing for a strong finish to the quarter.
Your Peer Mentor will help you explore healthy ways to manage stress, find balance, and talk through what’s on your mind - whether it’s finals, burnout, or academic conversations with family. They will also walk you through supportive campus resources like Student Health and Counseling Services, Aggie Mental Health, and the Community Advising Network (CAN) so you know where to turn for some extra support.
During Drop-In Hours, you can unwind with coloring pages, playlist sharing, and simple de-stress activities. We’ll also chat about how you're feeling in your classes and help you find strategies that make finals more manageable rather than stressful.
Pro tips:
Take breaks before you feel burned out. Short moments of rest make studying more effective.
If family conversations about grades or expectations feel stressful, practice setting small boundaries or scripting what you want to say.
Remember: you’re not alone. Reaching out for support is a strength, not a setback.
Finals Study Essentials:
● Plan out your studying with a schedule!
Engage with active learning techniques like:
