Connect with Faculty: Reach out to professors—they are often happy to share their personal career journeys and research opportunities.
Talk to Peer Advisors: Visit your major’s peer advisors. These upperclassmen have valuable insights into how they are preparing for life after graduation.
Peer-to-Peer Networking: Chat with classmates! Everyone’s path is unique, and hearing their goals might spark an idea for your own.

Visit the Career Center: Get your resume reviewed, practice mock interviews, or attend workshops on effective networking.

Mark Your Calendar: Career Fair & Deadlines
Winter Career Fair: Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Even if you aren’t applying yet, attending is a great way to practice your "elevator pitch" and see what employers are looking for.
Tip: You don't need a perfect resume to attend—curiosity matters more!
Action: Look for FYE flyers or ask your Peer Mentor about the Week 4 Topic: Preparing for the Career Fair.
Important Academic Dates:
Feb 2: Last day to drop 20-day courses and file for course material fee waivers.
Feb 9: Last day to opt for S/U grading or change units for variable-unit courses.
March 3: Last day to opt for P/NP grading.
March 13: Instruction ends. Last day for PTD/PTA forms.
