2024 Earth Day Art Contest
The entries are in, now it’s your chance to vote for your favorite!
Head over to our online Earth Day Art Gallery to view all the entries, then vote for your favorite via the Voting Form.
Voting closes on Friday, April 26 at 11:59 pm. The winners will be announced on Monday, April 29 in the Sustainability Newsletter.

We are so excited to welcome our residents back to our gardens! Look at the volunteer hours below for the Spring Quarter schedule. In the meantime, Join the Resident Garden Discord to stay up on the latest happenings in the resident garden.
Resident Garden at Segundo (located between Bixby Hall and the Segundo Dining Commons)
- Tuesdays: 11:00-1:00 pm
- Thursdays: 12:00-2:00 pm
- Fridays: 11:00-1:00 pm
Resident Garden @ Tercero (located near the main entrance to Latitude)
- Mondays: 10:00-12:00 pm
- Tuesdays: 2:00-3:00 pm
- Thursdays: 1:00-3:00 pm
Spring is the perfect time to Adopt-A-Plot!
Come to the resident gardens and adopt your own plot! Come plant new seeds, grow your own plant and decorate your garden spot while learning sustainable gardening practices. Residents who participate in Adopt-A-Plot will have access to garden tools, materials and mentorship.
If you are interested in adopting a plot, please fill out the Adopt-A-Plot application or visit us during open volunteer hours and speak to one of our Resident Garden Coordinators. Visit housing.ucdavis.edu/sustainability/resident-garden for more information about the resident gardens.
