Meet The Green Resident Directors
Professional staff manages the student staff and offers additional support including academic and leadership support, and guidance regarding policies and conflict resolution. Resident Directors plan and facilitate programming in the residence halls, providing residents with opportunities to get involved and nurturing healthy communities according to the UC Davis "Principles of Community." They also oversee the Community Assistants (CAs) and work with the After Hours Assistants (AHAs) who are responsible for helping with after hours facilities and custodial issues.

Hiiiii! My name is Lily Kim and I am the RD for the Celadons at The Green! I’m a SoCal girly and got my Bachelor’s at UC San Diego and my Master’s at USC. I'm a Disney passholder and enjoy all things personal growth related/personality tests!

My name is Hassan B. Marong (He/Him) and I'm a Detroit native. I'm so honored to join the UC Davis team. I hold a master's from USC in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs and a bachelor’s in Communication from Central Michigan University. With a passion for equity and justice, I hope to empower students in Higher Education to use their voices to create lasting change.

Hello and welcome! I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology and was an associate marriage and family therapist for a few years. In my free time I enjoy cooking, spending time with my friends and rewatching my favorite tv shows/ movies. I listen to a variety of music but you can usually catch me listening to Taylor Swift (what era are you currently in?) Looking forward to meeting you!

I am a former transfer student from El Camino College to UCLA and completed my graduate degree at Rutgers University. I am passionate about supporting students as they transition to university.
