Professional staff manages the student staff and offers additional support including academic and leadership support, and guidance regarding policies and conflict resolution. Resident Directors plan and facilitate programming in the residence halls, providing residents with opportunities to get involved and nurturing healthy communities according to the UC Davis "Principles of Community." They also oversee the Community Assistants (CAs) and work with the After Hours Assistants (AHAs) who are responsible for helping with after hours facilities and custodial issues.

Summer Barber (She/Her)

I am Summer Barber and I am going into my third year as a Resident Director here at UC Davis. I attended California State University, Stanislaus for both my undergraduate and graduate course work. While at CSU Stanislaus I received my Master of Arts in Education Counseling. After I finished my graduate degree, I then worked at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville as a Resident Director for two years. What I like to do in my free time is watch new shows/movies, hangout with friends/family and am always wanting to try new restaurants. I am eager and excited to start this new year and meet everyone.

My name is Katie Ilecki (She/They) and my passions are supporting students in making the transition on to campus and helping them find community. I enjoy watching movies, playing games, and reading in my spare time.

Daniel Puerta (He/Him)

Hometown: San Diego, CA

Hi my name is Daniel; San Diego is where I call home. I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisiplinary Studies (2017) and a Master of Education in Postsecondary Educational Leadership: Specialization in Student Affairs from San Diego State University (2019). On my free time you can catch me at the gym, walking my dog Buddha around and watching the newest marvel or dc project. Victoria Ramos (She/Her)

Hello! I'm Victoria. I grew up in the central valley of California and I've spent the past year living in Oregon. I love nature and being adventurous. If I am not outside, I am baking or cooking something delicious.

Cedric Revera (He/Him)

I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley (Tracy/Lathrop/Manteca). I moved to the San Fernando Valley to get my B.A. in Deaf Studies, then my M.A. in Higher Education Leadership, from CSU Northridge. Now, I am here in Davis, and I am excited to support our wholesome community. Go Aggies!

I received my Bachelors from UC Santa Barbara and my Masters from University of the Pacific. Prior to coming to UC Davis I worked at San Diego State University. I like spending time with my dog, scary movies, and drinking coffee!

Welcome to UC Davis! Or welcome back! This is my first year as a Resident Director at UC Davis and I'm excited to be here. I completed by bachelor's degree at California State University, Fullerton and my master's at the University of Denver. In my free time I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time with my family and all things Disney!
