Receiving Mail/Packages during Moove-In

Incoming residents can begin shipping items to their mailing address on Friday, Sept. 15. Our mail rooms will not be up and running until Monday, Sept. 18 so they will not be able to receive any packages prior to that date. Packages received the week of Sept. 18 will be held but not processed until Friday, Sept. 22, however, if it is a package that contains items needed ASAP such as bedding, shower caddy, etc. please visit the Area Service Desk in your area and they will make an exception to try to find your package and release to you.

If ordering from Amazon, another option would be to use the Amazon lockers that we have on campus. You can find their locations here: https://housing.ucdavis.edu/mail-and-packages/amazon-lockers/. When you place the order, you can choose to ship it to one of the lockers by searching under the 95616 zip code. That way, you can pick the package(s) up at any time.

PACKAGE PROCESS: We process packages in the order that they are delivered. Once processed in our system, it will automatically send the resident an email to their UC Davis email address letting them know that it’s ready to be picked up at their Area Service Desk and they must have their Aggie Card for identification purposes. Please be aware that the first few weeks of Fall Quarter our mailrooms are extremely inundated with packages so it could take up to a week to process your package(s).
