Preparing for Finals: Finals Week and End-of-Quarter Tips
Finals can be stressful, but we’ve got you covered! Here are some tips on preparing for your exams and projects, as well as some helpful resources.
Plan Ahead
- Create a calendar to help you space out your studying
 - Don't forget to take breaks! Remember to eat and get enough sleep
 - Pick up more study tips, workshops and resources from the Office of Educational Opportunity and Enrichment Services (OEOES) website
 
End-of-Quarter Tips
- Prioritize end of the quarter/year projects assignments early so that you have enough time to study for finals
 - Connect with your classmates and form study groups
 
Resources
- Attend your professor or TA’s office hours: 
- Make the most of office hours by preparing questions beforehand
 
 - Attend tutoring 
- Get support provided by Academic Assistance and Tutoring Services (AATC)
 - Residential Academic Centers provide tutoring from 6-9 pm on select weekdays 
- MAT & CHEM tutoring: 
- Tercero: Monday & Tuesday
 - Segundo: Tuesday & Wednesday
 - Cuarto: Wednesday & Thursday
