No experience necessary! Our team is made up of so many strong, energetic, and supportive athletes and we would love to have you be a part of that. We accept anyone and everyone regardless of athletic or rowing experience! Even though we’re a club sport, we compete at regattas across the country. We practice out of the Port of West Sacramento, usually starting at 5am. The team provides transportation to and from practice, and we’ll have you back in time for any 8am classes. We also have land practices on campus several times a week which will start a bit later! Throughout the year you’ll also have many opportunities to participate in team bonding activities like game nights, team breakfasts, and our annual camping trip! This team focuses on building a close team environment of Davis students with a wide variety of major studies unified through getting strong together to compete at the regional and national level. We encourage a competitive atmosphere and strive for the betterment of every member on the team. This program provides a challenge that pushes limits physically and mentally. With this program comes the chance to travel around the country competing against NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and club teams, while gaining lifelong friends.
