Swap Till You Drop – Clothing Swap
Bring your pre-loved clothes, trade them for something fresh, and discover how small changes in your shopping habits can have a big impact on the planet.
You can bring the following items to the clothing swap:
- Item limit: 10 items per person.
- Gently used clean clothing, shoes, and accessories (Belts, bags, hats, scarves, gloves)
- Lab coats & goggles. (Donation drive)
Not accepted items
- Undergarments, swim attire, socks.
- Jewelry (Earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets)
- Dirty or stained items.
- Items with holes, broken zippers, broken buttons, etc.
- Anything moldy, mildewy or hazardous
Drop in anytime during the event! You can bring and swap items as you like, donate items you do not want, or browse the items available.
All items left at the end of the event will go back to the campus community as donations to the Aggie Reuse Store.

Grow, Harvest, Eat!
Come to the Resident Garden to harvest some greens while learning some tasty salad recipes. You will have the chance to harvest things like lettuce and cabbages and find out how easy it can be to grow them yourselves. Plus, they make a good ingredient for a tasty and healthy salad.

Resident Garden @ Tercero
This event is open to all residents of Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto on a first-come first-serve basis.
UC Davis Student Farm Tour
Come with us on a tour to the UC Davis Student Farm where you will learn about the opportunities to engage with them.
- We will tour the Eco Garden area where our guide will share information about programs available to students and projects they are working on.
- We will also visit the Market Garden area where we will learn about the different activities that the team brings to the general campus community.
- You will also get to participate on a weed identification activity (optional) and gain valuable information that you can put into practice at the Resident Gardens.
EVENT DETAILS
Saturday, March 8 11:30-1:00pm
- 11:30am: Meet at the Resident Garden @ Segundo to check-in.
- 11:45am: We will walk to the UC Davis Student Farm.
- 12:00-12:30pm (approx.): Tour of the facilities (Eco Garden and Market Garden).
- 12:30-1:00pm: Weed identification activity.

Join us at the Resident Gardens!
We are so excited to welcome our residents back in our gardens! Take a look at the volunteer hours below for the Winter Quarter schedule. In the meantime, join the Resident Garden Discord to stay up on the latest happenings in the resident garden.
Resident Garden @ Segundo – located between Bixby Hall and the Segundo Dining Commons
- Mondays: 10:00-12:00pm
- Wednesdays: 10:00-12:00pm
Resident Garden @ Tercero – located near the main entrance to Latitude.
- Mondays: 2:30-4:30pm
- Thursdays: 1:00-3:00pm
Adopt-A-Plot
Residents can also adopt a plot in the Segundo or Tercero garden for one quarter or longer to steward their own garden space. Adopt-a-plotters will have access to garden materials and mentorship. If you are interested in adopting a plot, please fill out the Adopt-A-Plot application or visit us during open volunteer hours and speak to one of our Resident Garden Coordinators.
