October is Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month

This October, CARE invites you to join us in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and promoting healthy relationships for all. There are lots of ways to get involved at UC Davis!

Wear purple on Thursday, October 16. Post a picture on Instagram, mention @ucdcare and we’ll share it in our stories!

Attend this year’s Love Fest. This collaborative event is designed to promote healthy relationships and show support for survivors.

Feel free to share CARE’s Information & Resource Guide for Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence with any survivors you know.

More information about events for Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month, including CARE’s Open House, Love Fest, and Wear Purple Day, will be posted to the CARE website: https://care.ucdavis.edu/events

The Center for Advocacy, Resources and Education (CARE) is a free and confidential resource for UC Davis students and employees who have experienced any form of intimate partner violence, stalking, sexual assault, or sexual harassment.
