- Each registration appointment time is a four-hour window
- Register/Waitlist up to 17 units during Pass 1
- Register/Waitlist up to 19 units during Pass 2 Register for classes
- There are multiple sections of the same class
- Pay attention to class times! Look for additional classes using the “advanced search” function
- You can also separate classes by applicable GE credits
- Use the General Education Search Tool to see applicable GE credits and when classes will be offered by quarter
2. What Do I Use the General Catalog For?

Scheduling Tips:
- Know your Pass Time! Put it in your calendar
- Make multiple schedules before your Pass Time
- If you’re unable to register for classes during your Pass Time, you can register during Open Registration hours
- Check out the Registration Calendar
- If classes are full, sign up for the waitlist:
- Waitlists run through the 12th day of Instruction
- BE CAREFUL! Waitlisted units do not count towards the minimum unit requirement (12 units) to be registered as a full-time student and have financial aid disbursed
- However, waitlisted units do count towards your maximum amount of units that you are able to register for during Pass Times
