Its nearly time to welcome students back to campus. (Shout out to our summer residents, you're not moving back in but we're excited to see you anyway!)
UC Davis is a pedestrian friendly campus. While you'll see many people on campus walking, biking, and skateboarding that doesn't mean you can do it anywhere. If you're planning on bringing a personal vehicle such as a bike, scooter, skateboard, etc we strongly recommend you check both university policy and Student Housing and Dining Services (SHDS) policy first.
Whether you're moving into a residence hall for your very first year at UC Davis or a returning student moving into a new apartment we know you have questions about the Moove-In process. We've prepared this guide to answer some of the most commonly asked questions.
Incoming residents can begin shipping items to their mailing address on Friday, Sept. 15. Our mail rooms will not be up and running until Monday, Sept. 18 so they will not be able to receive any packages prior to that date. Packages received the week of Sept. 18 will be held but not processed until Friday, Sept. 22, however, if it is a package that contains items needed ASAP such as bedding, shower caddy, etc. please visit the Area Service Desk in your area and they will make an exception to try to find your package and release to you.
