Student Housing residence halls will be closed during Winter Break and accommodations in the residence halls will not be available. Residence Halls close at 12pm (Noon) on December 14, 2024 and will open at 8am on January 3, 2025.
Student Housing has identified hotels in the Davis area that can accommodate our students’ housing needs during Winter Break. We have negotiated a discounted nightly rate which the student will be responsible for paying. Availability is be limited and provided on a first come first serve basis.
You are being invited to join a research study by the Energy Efficiency Insitute (EEI) for residents of UC Davis campus residence (Segundu, Tercero, Cuarto, The Green, Orchard Park) and the Domes. The study will attempt to understand the underlying causes of the difference in perceived quality of life and other social, physical and mental health aspects associated with it. Additionally, this study will try to identify the reasons for preferring one kind of housing option vs the other. The results of this study may guide future sustainable housing on campus.

The Change-Makers Prize was established in honor of Karim Abou Najm to recognize high-achieving students at UC Davis pursuing additional skills, training or experiential learning support of their academic journey.
